Why Every Diver Needs DSMB Training

In many diving locations, especially those with boat traffic or strong currents, a DSMB is a mandatory piece of safety equipment. It acts as a visual signal to the surface crew, letting them know exactly where you are before you begin your ascent.
At H2O Dive Center, we teach you how to deploy your buoy while maintaining neutral buoyancy—a skill that requires practice and precision. This course is a “must-have” for any diver planning to dive in Miami’s exciting drift conditions.
