Supportive Diving Mastery
The Adaptive Techniques Specialty is designed for dive professionals and buddies who want to become more inclusive. This course provides the tools and knowledge to assist divers with diverse abilities, ensuring they experience the same joy and freedom that scuba diving offers.
You will learn how to adapt equipment, modify skills, and improve communication to meet the unique needs of adaptive divers. At H2O Dive Center, we believe the ocean has no boundaries, and this course is our way of opening it up to everyone.

The Training Phases

Knowledge Development
Learn the ethical and practical considerations of adaptive diving. Understand different types of disabilities and the specific support they require.

Practical Training
Complete pool and ocean sessions where you practice acting as a support diver, using modified gear and rescue techniques.
3
Advanced Navigation & Entry
Practice using reels and lines for limited penetration (where safe) and master the art of perfect buoyancy near metal structures.
